Your First Step Into Technical Decompression Diving
The PADI Tec 40 course is where you officially transition from recreational to technical diving. Whether you're progressing from Tec Basics or diving into tec for the first time, Tec 40 is the perfect starting point. This course bridges the gap between no-stop recreational dives and full technical decompression dives.
By the end of the course, you’ll be qualified to:
Make limited decompression dives to a maximum depth of 40 metres / 130 feet
Use up to 50% enriched air (EANx) as a decompression gas
